iPhone 12 Schematic

The iPhone 12 schematic is available in nine gorgeous colorways.

I had no idea that when I published my iPhone 13 Pro schematics, the reception would be as overwhelming as it was. I must've received a hundred appreciative messages and glowing compliments on how much people enjoyed the wallpapers. I was floored by the response, moved by everyone who reached out to say thanks, and maybe a little tipsy after I imbibed in a few of those beer people tipped me.

Amongst the comments were many of you who asked if I could create schematics for other iPhones. Probably the loudest contingent were those of you who asked about wallpapers for the iPhone 12 line, and so on November 24, I dutifully got to work on the iPhone 12, 12 Pro, & 12 Pro Max versions.

These schematic are some of my most complex wallpapers to date, featuring hundreds of layers and interlocking components.

Nearly a month on, I'm happy to release the iPhone 12 line of schematic wallpapers in nine beautiful colorways. Each schematic is the product of hours upon hours to work, with over 400 unique components needing to be mapped out by hand for each design. Though many of the core components are the same, their shape and size required thousands of adjustments to bring to life the unique internals of each device. I owe a debt of gratitude to the iFixit team for their internal teardown photos that served as a reference in designing these wallpapers!

I am delighted to share these iPhone 12 schematics with you. There are versions for the 12/12 Pro (their internals are virtually identical) and 12 Pro Max. Unfortunately, as much as I would've wanted to, I didn't have the time to create a schematic for the 12 mini, though I would love to once things slow down.

To set these wallpapers, make sure to turn Perspective Zoom off when setting the wallpaper, and then pinching out to resize the wallpaper to fill the borders of the display.
