Spring Loaded Wallpapers

Those new iMacs and accessories sure would look fly with these new wallpapers don’t ya think?

I’m still coming down from the action-packed Spring Loaded event Apple held just over a week ago! From the AirTag announcement to the new iMac to the dizzyingly stacked M1-enabled iPad Pros.

At the event, Apple’s updated iMacs referenced Apple’s past. From the ‘hello’ harkening back to the original Macintosh of 1984, the playful glimmers of a six-colour Apple logo, and the bold colours of the iconic iMacs released in 1998.

New Commander

I loved the look and design of the iMac so much that I figured I’d incorporate its bold colours and radical redesign into the popular Commander wallpaper released earlier in April. This new wallpaper has been sprinkled with a few additional glyphs of the new iMac, and the colours have been upgraded to the vibrant six colours featured in the iMac line. The new wallpaper is available for your iPhone, iPad, & Mac, including a dynamic (light/dark) wallpaper for the Mac that will automatically change as you shift between light & dark mode. Finally, I had a chance to play around with a new mesh gradient plugin and am pleased to release a version of the wallpaper with an added subtle pop of colour. I hope you’ll love them!

Spring Loaded Symbols

Spring product refreshes also mean new spring colours across Apple’s various accessories. Continuing the widely popular series of Symbols 2.0 Wallpapers I released back in March, I’ve updated the wallpapers for the new Amethyst, Pistachio, Capri Blue, Cantaloupe, and Deep Violet iPhone cases. All of these are now available for the Mac, iPhone, & iPad.
