Apple has announced a new store for Mainland China, Apple Uniwalk Qianhai (这方来逐浪), that is scheduled to open on August 16, 2025.
To celebrate the launch, Apple released a collection of commemorative wallpapers for the iPad, Mac, iPhone, and Apple Watch.
The logo was featured as a wrap on Apple The Grove before the store officially opened at its new location in 2021.
However, unlike so many other new retail openings that feature unique artwork by artists or inspired by the new retail locations' cultural or community character, these new wallpapers feature an Apple design that the company has used in dozens of store openings before, from Apple The Grove to Milton Keynes. But this is the first time, in my recollection, that Apple has offered this logo as a wallpaper to download ahead of a store opening. And because these wallpapers disappear following the opening of the store, I have archived them here for posterity. I have also added modified black and soft rainbow background versions to complement Apple's white version of these wallpapers for the Mac, iPad, and iPhone. Enjoy!
