macOS Golden Gate Beta 3 Wallpapers
macOS Golden Gate finally got some Golden Gate.
On Monday, July 6, Apple released Golden Gate Beta 3, and with it came two new aerial wallpapers of the Golden Gate Bridge. Social media was quickly flooded with people sharing both the aerial screensavers and wallpapers within minutes of the update, and for posterity’s sake, I’ll do the same here.
The original aerial screensavers are 4K videos, and because they are pulled from video rather than still photographs, I find they look slightly softer than a proper photo would. I did my best to upscale and sharpen them just enough to look as good as possible on a 5K display, and I also created iPhone crops of both wallpapers.
