iPhone 12 Leather Sleeve
Apple seems to be swinging for the fences this year with its controversial leather accessories. First, it was the hoopla over the MagSafe Leather Wallet. Now it looks like it's the Leather Sleeve's turn. Here are my thoughts on Apple's latest accessory.
iPhone Leather Wallet
I began writing this entry to get my thoughts out on the new iPhone Leather Wallet, but it expanded to include some musings about Apple's use of magnets, a bit of rambling about aesthetics & modularity, & my experience with how well the Wallet holds onto the iPhone and whether you should trust it with your credit cards?
50 Shades of Blue
From Alaskan to Surf Blue, Apple currently offers ten different hues of Blue across its accessory lineup.
New Shirt, Less Pixels
More Merch! Introducing a pixelated take on the original logo, now available as a shirt from Cotton Bureau. Available as a black tee in both men’s and women’s sizes!
Leather Loop Retrospective
The Leather Loop debuted with the Apple Watch when it was released on April 24, 2015. With rumours that a new Leather Loop redesign may soon take its place, I wanted to take a moment and present a short retrospective on the Leather Loop.
GhostCover for iPad Pro
My impressions on using the GhostCover for the iPad Pro’s Magic Keyboard. TL;DR: slightly “mushier”, but I love it!
What am I Going to Do with You?
The pandemic has slagged all my plans where I intended to use the Smart Battery Case for the iPhone… so what do I do with it now?
Has the Magic Worn Off?
I've had a chance to field-test the Magic Keyboard these past three months in a variety of environments: my living room, my kitchen, my bedroom (these are pandemic times after all), and formed some impressions about the keyboard and how it compares to Apple’s other offering: the Smart Keyboard Folio.
Patina Challenge
Saddle Brown: Equal parts beautiful and a neurotic persons worst nightmare.
Beats Repair
While I was not impressed to find a tear in the material ear cup on my Beats Solo Pro headphones, I am blown away at the speed with which Apple handled the repair process.
TL;DR: Logistics is nuts!
