A trend seen throughout August was the temporary closure of retail locations. Globally, several locations would temporarily close for 4-14 days before reopening to the public. August also saw a significant slowdown in Apple Stores closing indefinitely due to increasing COVID-19 cases. However, several US states and Spain saw such closures as higher COVID-19 case rates continued in localized areas.

The Leather Loop debuted with the Apple Watch when it was released on April 24, 2015. With rumours that a new Leather Loop redesign may soon take its place, I wanted to take a moment and present a short retrospective on the Leather Loop.

No specs, no gripping about the dated design, and no benchmarks, just a few of my impressions on Apple's latest (possibly last) round of updates (or lack thereof) to the Intel iMacs.

July saw Apple continue to close a sizeable portion of its US retail stores in response to growing coronavirus cases across the country. By the end of July, Apple had closed 115 retail locations for a second time across the United States, and 5 in the state of Victoria in Australia.

On July 31, 2020 Health Canada released their COVID-19 app using the Apple & Google API framework to alert users of possible contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19.

A compilation of the sources I’ve been accessing regarding the July 29, 2020 antitrust hearing of Amazon, Apple, Facebook, & Google. My hope is that these sources can be useful in beginning to come to an understanding of the situation these tech companies, and the future of regulating them, are in.
