Apple Store Reopening Timeline: August
This post is the seventh entry of a multi-entry series covering the Apple Store retail closing and reopening strategy in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This entry recaps the month of August 2020.
Entry Series:
A trend seen throughout August was the temporary closure of retail locations. Globally, several locations would temporarily close for 4-14 days before reopening to the public. August also saw a significant slowdown in Apple Stores closing indefinitely due to increasing COVID-19 cases. However, several US states and Spain saw such closures as higher COVID-19 case rates continued in localized areas.
