Apple Store Covid-19 Timeline: April, 2021

April ends with ‎‎481 of Apple’s 511 stores having reopened to some capacity. All retail locations in France, Brazil, & Turkey remain closed, and the state of Michigan has also closed six Apple stores due to a surge of cases in the area.

Apple continues to operate the vast majority of its retail locations despite a significant third wave of the pandemic hitting many countries where retail stores are located. Express Stores remain an option, and all Apple stores continue to adhere to some level of COVID-protocols around occupancy limits, physical distancing, and mask requirements. Only the countries of France, Brazil, & Turkey have seen complete retail shutdowns that now extend past the end of April.
