Apple Tower Theatre
The Roaring Twenties are back when Apple opens the doors to its 512th retail store, Apple Theatre Tower, on June 24, 2021. Initially designed in the 1920s, Apple has beautifully restored this early 20th-century theatre in downtown LA which has sat unused for nearly three decades, refinishing countless details over thousands of hours to revive a stunning landmark to its former splendour!
With the debut of Via del Corso barely in our rearview, Apple has once again surpassed itself in reclaiming and bringing life back into unused spaces. It's a touchy topic: should corporations be allowed to get their hands on this historic architecture and turn them into private businesses? Rightly or wrongly, the fact of the matter is that many governments don't prioritize or have the means to prioritize the extensive work required to take on this scale of restoration.
Wow... way too political. Building off the wallpaper I recreated for the launch of Apple Via del Corso in Rome, I am releasing a series of wallpapers celebrating the launch of Apple Tower Theatre in LA. I've done my best to recreate the Apple Logo pictured on display inside the Forum where Today at Apple sessions will be held. Two styles of wallpaper exist, one featuring the Apple logo and the other featuring a full-screen pattern. Both are available for all your iDevices (Macs, iPhones, iPads).
