Commander 2022
It’s a new year, time for a new Commander!
Introducing Commander 2022, a fresh & updated take on one of my favourite designs to date!
Last year I released a series of wallpapers and tees with a collage of Apple products in the shape of Apple's iconic Command key. The wallpapers did alright, but the shirts I designed were a hit, becoming the second & third most popular designs I've released! But, as the year rolled on, Apple released new products (AirTags, Studio Display, Mac Studio, the MacBook Pro, the iPhone 13, etc.). Over time, the shirt became outdated, and it became apparent that the Commander design deserved a refresh heading into WWDC 2022.
Commander 1.0 was a hit! The design became one of my most popular pieces of merch in 2021.
To update the Commander design, I dug up the 2021 file and reworked it in several significant ways. First, I modelled and added a range of new Apple products that have been released since I first created the original design in 2021. This included adding products like AirPods 3, The MacBook Pro, Mac Studio, AirTags, Studio Display, and the iPhone 13. Next, I changed the colour styles: creating a mosaic of colours in place of the rainbow gradient for the Six Color Commander and a new matte black style that replaces last year's Navy/Stone designs.
New products including AirTags, Mac Studio & Studio Display, iPhone 13, AirPods 3, and more have been added to the updated design.
Commander 2.0
The refreshed Commander design. Rather than using a gradient like the 2021 style, I chose to use a palette of 18 shades of Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, Purple, and Blue.
The updated Commander is a fun nod to the new tech Apple has released over the past 12 months and begins a tradition I hope continues into the future. The plan is to release annual versions, updating the new design with products released over the preceding year!

NOTE (2023): THESE T-SHIRT DESIGNES ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE
Commander 2022 is available in both a Six Color version (left) & a Matte Black Style (right). Both styles are available in men and women's cuts ranging from S-5XL.
The Six Color Commander is currently available on both a white and a black tee, while the Matte Black commander comes (you guessed it) on a beautiful black tee. All three styles are currently available to order on Cotton Bureau's website in time for dub-dub!
Wallpapers
Additionally, I am releasing a set of wallpapers for your iPhone, iPad, & Mac featuring the new Commander logo. I'm keeping the wallpapers pretty basic to start, with a black and gradient background for the Six Color Commander and a black or white Commander logo for the Matte Black style. Enjoy!
