iOS 11 Meet iMac
I never cared for the stock iOS stripe wallpapers ever since they debuted on iOS 11. But once they were refreshed with the new bold colours of the new iMac, these wallpapers slap!
When iOS 11 launched in 2017, it included several stock wallpapers featuring a ribbon of diagonal bars in the iconic six colours on multiple coloured backgrounds. These wallpapers continue to be included in new builds of iOS and, over the years, have been updated to now include a light/dark mode variant on iOS (the background colour becomes black in dark mode).
I can't say these were ever my favourite backgrounds, and as a result, I don't think I kept any as a default wallpaper for more than a couple of days on my devices. But then I got to tinkering and updated the wallpapers to the bold colours of the new iMac, and well... I'm in love! The refreshed colours and contrasts of these wallpapers give off an elegant aesthetic that pops on every device I've put them on!
So, without ado, I hope you enjoy this latest collection. Six coloured wallpapers match the green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, and blue of the new iMacs, and there's a black background variant. All of these are available for the iPhone, iPad, and for the first time, as a 6K Mac wallpaper. Lastly, there's a dynamic wallpaper available for the Mac that transitions between a coloured/black background as you shift between light/dark mode.
