Apple Sainte-Catherine
Apple’s Sainte-Catherine store is relocating to a new location on Montréal’s Iconic boulevard.
Apple’s flagship store in Montréal is moving down the block, with a grand opening scheduled for Friday, January 16, 2026.

Apple’s original Sainte-Catherine location opened back in 2008. The store holds a near and dear place in my heart. It was the first Apple Store I ever visited outside of a mall, and also where I experienced a concert, with Sam Roberts Band performing back when Apple occasionally hosted live music in their retail spaces.

As part of the relocation, Apple has partnered with local artist Catherine Potvin on a set of wallpapers for Mac and iPhone. The artist will also be on site for two days during the launch of the new location, and customers making a purchase will receive a special Apple Store shopping bag illustrated by Potvin.

I’ve collected the wallpapers here for posterity, since links to Apple retail wallpapers tend to disappear once a store officially opens. Enjoy.

Alternates
I also designed two alternate wallpapers using the Apple logo featured as the hero graphic on Apple’s Sainte-Catherine’s retail store page. It’s available in both a light and dark variation.
