My First Four Apps
On July 10, 2008, I shot out of bed and ran over to my Mac, plugged in my iPod touch, and eagerly installed the latest version of iPhoneOS, iPhoneOS 2.0, the software version that introduced the mobile App Store. Of the 500 apps available on launch day, these are some of the first four applications I downloaded on that very first day.
What am I Going to Do with You?
The pandemic has slagged all my plans where I intended to use the Smart Battery Case for the iPhone… so what do I do with it now?
Patina Challenge
Saddle Brown: Equal parts beautiful and a neurotic persons worst nightmare.
The Long Night
I can't explain to you how I settled on this, but on July 29, I impulsively made the decision that I not only wanted the iPhone 4 at launch but that I wanted to experience the full iPhone launch experience.
2020 Summer Colors
Today Apple released new summer colours for the iPhone 11 Pro/Pro Max silicone case & Apple Watch Sport Band. The four new bands are: Vitamin C, Seafoam, Linen Blue, and Coastal Grey.
Dark Noise
Dark Noise is an easy-to-use and straightforward ambient noise app developed for iOS (available on iPad, iPhone, and... iPod Touch (I guess)). It's a well-crafted app that features over 40 different ambient sounds and integrates into Shortcuts and Apple's widget framework for easy accessibility.
iPhone SE First Impressions
I have a bit of a soft spot for the iPhone SE (both the 2020 and the outgoing 2016 model). I can't explain to you what it is, except to say that I know it's not rational, some sort of reality distortion field washes over me when I use this device. Nevertheless, this is hardly a review, just some impressions that stood out after using the phone for a week.
